A goalless stalemate in Marseille, defensive masterclasses in Paris, and a six-goal thriller in Saint-Étienne: Round 6 delivered drama, dominance, and a few shockers in the race for Europe.

Matchday Highlights

Olympique de Marseille 0-0 Strasbourg

A gritty, goalless grind at the Orange Vélodrome where defenses ruled and chances evaporated. Marseille peppered the Strasbourg goal early with Mathilde Bourdieu’s header, clawed away by Manon Wahl in the 1st minute, set the tone, but the visitors’ backline, led by the imperious Fátima Pinto, held firm through waves of pressure. Strasbourg countered with flashes, Laurine Hannequin’s long-range rockets whistling over, but Naomie Bamenga’s profligacy (three big misses) and a flurry of yellows (six in total) summed up a tense, tactical chess match. Manon Wahl’s six saves earned her the clean sheet in a point each keeps, both mid-table hopefuls dreaming.

Fleury 91 4-0 Lens

Emelyne Laurent turned the Stade Paul Billi into her personal playground, rifling home a first-half brace on lightning counters, first tapping in Charlotte Fernandes’ breakaway pass, then volleying home another in the 40th. Lens pushed back valiantly, Louann Archier and Kaîna El Koumir testing Constance Picaud, but Laurent’s third scored a cool close-range finish off Shana Chossenotte’s cutback, sealing her hat-trick and Fleury’s romp. Ngock’s thunderbolt from 25 yards four minutes later rubbed salt in, as Fleury’s press suffocated Lens into submission, a statement rout for the hosts.

Nantes 1-2 Dijon

Lightning struck twice for Nantes, or so they thought. Léa Khelifi ripped a 1-minute screamer into the bottom corner to stun Dijon, but the visitors flipped the script post-break. Meriame Terchoun equalized with a poacher’s finish amid chaos, then Declercq curled a free-kick beauty into the top bin for the winner. Nantes rallied Roseline Éloissaint and Imane Saoud denied by Katriina Talaslahti’s heroics, but Dijon’s clinical edge prevailed in a topsy-turvy tale of resilience.

Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 Le Havre

PSG’s machine purred efficiently at the Parc des Princes, Romée Leuchter the deadly conductor. She slotted Jennifer Echegini’s breakaway assist in the 11th, then dispatched the spot-kick after Ángela Barón’s rash challenge. Le Havre huffed Maïté Boucly’s long-range curler, forcing Mary Earps into a worldie, but Sakina Karchaoui’s barbers and Griedge Mbock’s dominance kept the clean sheet intact. Clinical, controlled a PSG masterclass

Saint-Étienne 4-2 Montpellier

Chaos reigned in Saint-Étienne: six goals, a red card, and pure pandemonium! Montpellier struck first via Rouquet’s cool finish, but Corboz leveled with a drilled equalizer. Rouquet restored the lead, only for Hornemann to poke home Tapia’s cross at the stroke of half-time. Post-interval, Hornemann tapped in Cambot’s pullback for 3-2, before Corboz nailed the pen after Lola Gstalter’s handball. Rosalie Chaine’s second yellow in the 90’+4 sealed Montpelier’s misery, a wild upset for the Green ‘n’ Whites

OL Lyonnes 1-0 Paris FC

The Lyonnes derby was a nail-biter at Groupama, chances aplenty but defenses dialed to 11. Ada Hegerberg and Kadidiatou Diani peppered Mylène Chavas, Paris FC’s counter-threats (Lorena Azzaro, Anaële Le Moguédec), forcing Teagan Micah into brilliance. Enter Tabitha Chawinga, who subbed on, she lashed home Ingrid Engen’s through-ball to break Parisian hearts. A gritty grind, but Lyon’s quality prevailed in the title tussle.
